Is this in connection to advice? in which case yes i have seen it just haven’t had time to reply will do it now!
Just going through a shit time anon. Thanks for asking tho :)
I sorta get it…
The short hair made him look more dominating and strict and firm - going with how his character was meant to be portrayed earlier.
The long hair makes him look more easy going and laid back and relaxed - to show how his character is changed now - were he no more needs to continuously keep his strict and controlled demeanour up. Love changes people ;)
Rashid really is such a flawed character, yet you cannot help but feel sorry for him. Yes, he left his love for other materialistic needs and to save himself but isn’t doing something like that just so human? Not all of us are perfect. Not all of us are heroes and i think that is what Rashid’s character symbolises so well. We don’t all make the right decisions and yes we do regret it later on. Don’t we deserve a chance to redeem ourselves in the eyes of the one we love? But he has already crossed so many bridges that even if he does redeem himself it will be at the cost of so many people’s happiness including his own children. Ultimately whatever angle you look at him and whatever good deed he does he still ends up coming off as selfish. Whatever route he takes he is still breaking someone’s heart in the process. I think this one of those situations, which really demonstrate how one bad decision can end up defining you indefinitely. I love his character - because he is NOT the stereotypical ‘good’ ‘bad’ or ‘random’ he is both good and bad and just elevates the dynamics of this show to a whole new level.
